What is MadFest?
Our Vision
MadFest started with a simple idea: to bring together the two high schools in Madison, Alabama, and show that we could make a greater impact by working together rather than competing against one another. From that vision, MadFest was born—a large-scale event that blends the excitement of a festival with the heart of community service. Our slogan, "Twelve Schools, One City," represents the twelve schools in the Madison City Schools District, all united in a common purpose.
The goal of MadFest is to celebrate our community, foster collaboration, and create lasting positive change. By combining fun with service, we aim to inspire everyone to get involved and make a difference. It’s not just about bringing people together for a day of entertainment—it’s about building stronger connections, giving back, and working toward a brighter future as one unified city.
Our Mission
MadFest is a festival that exists with the main purpose of community connection. The event is free to all attendees as we promote interconnectivity among all ages through festival fun and community service.
